How much does Botox cost per unit in Austin and San Antonio?
At The Injection Room, neurotoxin costs $10 to $13 per unit at regular price and $9 to $11 per unit on Tox Days. Every treatment has a 20-unit minimum.
Unit prices only compare fairly when the units are equivalent. Botox, Xeomin and Letybo are dosed on roughly the same scale for most areas. Dysport and Daxxify use their own unit scales, so the same treatment takes a different number of units. For those two, ask us for the total price of your dose and compare totals.

How many units of Botox will you need?
Most people need 20 to 64 units per visit, depending on how many areas they treat. The doses below are the standard starting points for Botox and Xeomin. Your injector adjusts them to your muscles, and stronger muscles usually need more.
Forehead lines are usually treated together with frown lines, so you will rarely pay for forehead units on their own. The 20-unit minimum applies to every visit.
How much does tox cost you in a year?
Tox costs most of our patients between $1,240 and $1,650 a year.
That comes from two numbers. Our average neurotoxin appointment over the last year was about $410. Most neurotoxins last three to four months, so most people come in three or four times a year. Three visits comes to about $1,240, or $103 a month. Four visits comes to about $1,650, or $137 a month.
One detail from our own numbers surprised us. Patients who booked on Tox Days spent almost exactly the same per appointment as everyone else, about $420 against $410. With a lower unit price, that same spend buys more units. For most people, Tox Days end up buying a fuller dose for the same money.
About 39% of our neurotoxin appointments last year were booked on Tox Days.
How much does filler cost you in a year?
Filler costs more per visit and lasts longer, so it helps to divide the price by the months it lasts.
Our average lip filler appointment last year came to about $600, and our average facial balancing appointment to about $1,640.

How can you spend less on injectables and still get good results?
Five changes make the biggest difference.
1. Book on Tox Days. The same toxin, the same injectors, 8% to 17% less per unit. If your schedule allows it, this is the easiest saving there is.
2. Pick your toxin by the price of your full dose. Xeomin has the lowest unit price on our menu. Daxxify lasts longer for many people, so you may need fewer visits a year. Dysport is dosed on a different scale. Ask us to price your treatment in each toxin and compare the totals.
3. Put your budget into the one or two areas that bother you most. A full dose in your frown lines looks better and lasts longer than a thin dose spread across your whole face. Underdosing is the most common reason tox wears off early.
4. Space your visits to how long your results last. Book your next appointment when movement comes back, and skip the fixed calendar reminder. Going from four visits a year to three saves you about $400.
5. Build structure before you add volume. If your face is losing volume, collagen stimulation first usually means less filler later. Filler added to the wrong place tends to need topping up, and that is where filler budgets grow.
Should you finance injectables?
Financing can make sense for a larger one-off treatment like facial balancing, Sculptra or a PDO thread lift. For maintenance tox at around $410 a visit, most people are better off budgeting monthly, because the cost comes back every three to four months.
If you do finance, the most important question is whether the plan is true 0% interest or deferred interest.
With true 0%, you pay the treatment price in installments and nothing more.
With deferred interest, you pay no interest only if you clear the full balance before the promotional period ends. Miss that date, even by one payment, and interest is charged on the entire original amount back to the day you started. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau found that patients paid $1 billion in deferred interest on medical credit cards and loans between 2018 and 2020, and that these cards often carry rates around 26.99%.

Is low-price Botox worth the risk?
A lower unit price is fine. An unlicensed injector or an unknown product is where the real risk sits.
In 2024 the CDC investigated 22 people in 11 states, Texas among them, who became ill after botulinum toxin injections. Eleven were hospitalized. Every case involved injections given by unlicensed or untrained people or in non-healthcare settings, including homes. The CDC's advice is to get injections only from licensed, trained professionals in licensed or accredited healthcare settings.
Before you book anywhere, ask four questions. Who is injecting, and what is their license? Which brand of toxin is it? How many units are you getting? Can you see the vial? A clinic that answers all four without hesitating is worth its price per unit.

Dysport has a lower price per unit, and it takes more units for the same treatment, so the per-unit price alone won't tell you. Ask for the total price of your dose in each toxin and compare those.
Can you finance Botox?
Yes, through our payment plans. For regular tox, budgeting monthly usually costs less than financing. If you finance, choose a true 0% plan over deferred interest.
How much is lip filler in Austin and San Antonio?
At The Injection Room, one syringe of lip filler costs $595 for Versa, $825 for Kysse and $925 for RHA. Most people need half a syringe to two syringes, and results usually last six to twelve months.
Is cheap Botox safe?
The safety risk comes from who injects you and what product they use, more than the unit price. Get injections only from a licensed, trained injector in a licensed healthcare setting, and ask to see the vial.
